Name of The Post: Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in the following Areas:
- Organic Chemistry: 50 Posts
- Analytical Chemistry: 02 Posts
- Polymers & Functional Materials: 04 Posts
- Inorganic & Physical Chemistry: 21 Posts
- Biology/ Chemical Biology: 06 Posts
Educational Qualifications: The candidates should be First class M.Sc. degree or equivalent in Chemistry (Organic/ Inorganic/ Physical/ Analytical Medicinal and Polymers); Biology/ Biotechnology/ Microbiology/ Environmental/ Genetics/ Zoology or Allied sciences with i) a valid rank in CSIR/UGC NET JRF Examination OR ii) a valid DST- INSPIRE/ ICMR Fellowship.
Note: The candidates who have passed CSIR-UGC-NET examination, under the "Lectureship category" are NOT eligible.
Selection Procedure: Selection for admission to the Ph.D. Programme shall be on the basis of Walk-In-Interview (s) to be conducted at CSIR-IICT on September 06, 2013. Please note that as per the applicable norms no TA/DA shall be paid to the candidates appearing for the interview.
