- For Sub Inspector posts: Between 22 years and 28 years .
- For Remaining posts: Between 20 years to 25 years.
Educational Qualifications:
- For post no. 1 : 10+2 with University and Second Class Master Certificate
- For post no. 2 : 10+2 with First Class Engine Driver Certificate .
- For post no. 3 : Matric with Serang Certificate
- For post no. 4 : Matric with Second Class Engine Driver Certificate
- For post no. 5 : Matric with ITI Diploma in Motor Mechanic
- For post no. 6 : Matric with Swimming knowledge with relevant experience.
Selection Procedure: The selection of the candidates on the basis of Written Examination, Documentation and Physical Measurement, Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Trade Test, Interview and Medical Examination.
Application Fees: The candidates must have to pay Rs. 50/- in the form of Demand Draft. For SC/ST/BSF/Ex-servicemen candidates are exempted from application fee.

- Last Date of Submission of Application Forms: within 30 days from the date of issue of advertisement.
- Last Date of Submission of Application Forms for Remote Areas: within 45 days from the date of issue of advertisement.
