Authority has invited online applications for the Assistant Surgeon Recruitment for filling up of more than 2594 Job Vacancies at Chennai only.

Date of Main Examination in CBT Method
Paper-I - Medical Science: 22-09-2013 (10AM to 1 PM)
Paper-II – General Studies: 22-09-2013 (2:30 PM to 4:30 PM)
Scheme of Main Examination
Main Examination is Computer Based Test
Paper-I : Single Paper in the Subject Viz
Medical Science : Duration: 3 hours, Max marks: 300
Paper-II : General Studies, Duration: 2 hours, Max marks: 200
Interview and Record: 70 marks
Total: 570 Marks
Minimum Qualifying marks for selection for all candidates: 171
Examination center: Chennai
Selection Procedure:
Selection will be made in two successive stages :-
(i) Main Examination
(ii) Oral Test in the type of an interview.
Final selection will be made on the basis of the total marks secured by the candidates in main TNPSC test in both the papers and Oral Test taken together subject
