Name of the Posts: Staff Nurse
No. of Posts: 465 Posts
Pay Scale: PB-2 – Rs. 9300-34800 plus GP Rs. 4600/-
Minimum Emoluments on Appointment: Rs. 40000/- approx. per month
Age Limit: 35 Years As on 16.08.2013
Educational Qualifications: The candidates should have a valid Degree or Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery or equivalent from a recognized University/Institution. He/She must have Registered as Nurse and Midwife under Indian Nursing council Act 1947/ any State Nursing Council.
Application Fees: The application fee for General & OBC Category candidates is Rs. 500/-, For SC/ST Candidates Rs. 250/- & For PWD Candidates is Exempted for application fee. The fee should be paid in the form of Demand Draft drawn in favour of "Accounts Officer", JIPMER, payable at Puducherry (State Bank of India – JIPMER Branch). The amount of fee will not be accepted in any other form.
Selection Procedure: The selection of the candidates on the basis of Written Test consisting 100 marks multiple choice questions.
