Happy Independence Day of India 2014 - Independence Day 2013 Celebration - Independence Day Patriotic Songs - 67th Independence Day of India: The Independence Day is the day on which India got freedom from British Rule. India got freedom on 15th August 1947. So Independence day is celebrated in India on 15 August on every year. This year India celebrates its 67th Independence day. Independence day is a gazetted holiday in India.
On this day the celebrations are held every where. Specially the Prime Minister of India unfurls India's flag and gave speech in the Red fort in the capital of India named New Delhi.
On this day the other Ministers & Gazetted Officers are also unfurls the Indian flag in their states including schools, colleges, banks, Govt. offices & parks and the voice of national anthem listening everywhere.
After the unfurls of Indian flag, parades & other cultural events held in front of Red Fort by our Indian Army, Navy, Paramilitary Forces, Schools & Colleges students. Many schools & colleges hosts different types of cultural programs to pay homage to the freedom fighters and the leaders, who plays a vital role in the independence of India.
Nowadays, many housing complexes, clubs, societies, group of friends even observe the flag hoisting ceremony within their premises with ease, joy and honesty.
