Age Limit As on 31-07-2013: The age of the candidates should not be more than 35 Years. (Relaxation as per State Govt. Rule, i.e., 5 years for SC/ST candidates & 03 Years for MBC/OBC and 03 years for all categories of Female candidate).
Pay Scale: Rs. 35025/- during 1st year, Rs. 35888/- 2nd year and Rs.36763/- 3rd year inclusive of NPA plus usual allowances as admissible for Senior Residents in this Institute. Approx Total Emolument comes as on today: Rs.53300/- during 1st year, Rs.54558/- 2nd year and Rs.55826/- 3rd year.
Educational Qualifications & Required Experiences: A Medical qualification as included in schedule I & II of MCI Act. Recognized P.G. qualification of MD/MS in specialization concerned or allied Surgical/Medical specialty. The candidate must be registered with Central/State Medical Council.
The Qualification prescribed is minimum requirement and the same does not automatically make candidates eligible for interview. Based on bio-data, the Screening Committee of the Institute, will shortlist candidate/s for interview. Candidate/s who will be called for interview will have to produce all relevant original documents, in proof of details furnished in their application at the time of interview.
How To Apply: Application form can be downloaded from the links as follows. The cost of application form is Rs. 500/- (Rupees Five Hundred) and Rs.125/- (One Hundred Twenty Five) for SC/ST candidates payable at Patna in the form of Demand Draft in favour of Director, IGIMS, Patna. Those who downloads the application form Institute website, shall have to submit a demand draft of Rs. 500/- or Rs.125/- (as applicable) in favour of Director, IGIMS, payable at Patna.
Candidate’s employed of Government/Semi Government department or any other employer must apply through proper channel. In case-of advance application “No Objection Certificate” issued by employer must be submitted at the time of interview, otherwise they will not be considered for selection In case of not in employment candidate must submit in writing that they not employment any organization.
