Friendship Day 2013 is celebrated on the 04 August this year. Every year Friendship day is celebrated on the first Sunday in the month of August. We can't live with our family but can we live without our friends ?
Friends are equally important as our family, we spent our childhood with our friends. we learn from our friends, we adopt our friends habits, we tease each other, we help each other in all situations, we love each other and most importantly FriendShip is the Best Relation Ever Trusted by Everyone. So, I want to Wish HAPPY FRIENDSHIP DAY 2013 TO ALL WORLD.
The Friendship day is specially dedicated to the the bond of friendship and companionship. More importantly in a country like India, Friendship Day is of much more worth because we don't know how to spend even a single Day with Friends. That feeling of Crying, Laughing, Enjoying, Proposing, Fighting, Teasing all that credit goes to Friends and only Friends.

The Friendship day was originally founded by Hallmark in 1919. It was intended to be a day for people to celebrate their friendship by sending each other cards, but by 1940 the market had dried up, and eventually it died out completely. However, in 1998 Winnie the Pooh was named the world’s Ambassador of Friendship at the United Nations (believe it or not!), and in April 2011 the United Nations officially recognised 30th July as International Friendship Day.
According to the Friendship Day declaration, we are invited to “observe this day in an appropriate manner, in accordance with the culture and other appropriate circumstances or customs of their local, national and regional communities, including through education and public awareness-raising activities”.originally founded by Hallmark in 1919.
