Andhra Pradesh (AP) Panchayat 2nd Phase Election Results 2013 : The first phase of Andhra Pradesh Panchayat Elections were successfully conducted on 23rd July, 2013 and the AP first phase election results are also declared soon after the polling time is over. And now its time for the AP Panchayat second phase Election which will start from tomorrow i.e July 27, 2013 and the Results of the AP Panchayat 2nd Phase will soon be published on this website.

AP Panchayat Election Results 2013 Unanimous (Ekagrivam) District Wise Results
The elections for the 21,491 panchayats would be conducted in three phases. The first phase of Panchayat elections would be conducted in 6,875 villages, II phase in 7795 villages and III phase in 6873 villages and the TDP share Phase 1/Round 1 honours.
YSR Congress Party (YSRCP), widely being perceived as the main challenger to both Congress and TDP, has ended up only as a fringe player, as also Telangana Rashtra Samiti (TRS). Even in their so-called bastions, these two parties failed to make a mark.

"The elections to the local bodies are being held after a gap of two years. The election could not be held due to certain problems in providing reservations to various sections.The Supreme Court in February asked the government to conduct elections to urban local bodies and Panchayati Raj Institutions on the basis of the existing 60.5 percent quota to backward classes, Dalits and tribals.The central government had stopped the release of statutory grants to the tune of Rs.2,600 crore to Panchayati Raj Institutions due to non-conduct of elections.
